On this page, we answer the most frequently asked questions about our CEWE Community.
All adults who have ordered a CEWE photo product in the past six weeks are eligible to participate. Currently, this includes the CEWE PHOTOBOOK and CEWE CALENDAR. More product groups will be added soon.
Anyone with a valid email address can become a member of the CEWE Community.
Yes, you may use your real name or a pseudonym. Please note that changing your name afterwards is not possible. The name you provide during registration will be displayed to the community.
It does not matter from which CEWE country you placed your order. Currently, the CEWE Community is only accessible via the German website. In the future, this service will also be available internationally.
CEWE is always interested in new, occasion-specific customer examples. We appreciate every example submitted by you. If we find a submission that fits our purposes, we will contact the author. Only with explicit permission from the author will the product become an official customer example.
Within the CEWE Community, you can submit CEWE PHOTOBOOK and CEWE CALENDAR examples, regardless of format, binding, cover, or paper type.
Your product must be created using our software or that of a retail partner and then ordered online. Participation by sending your data on CD/DVD is not possible. For CEWE CALENDARS, please note: Only online saved orders can be accepted as customer examples.
You can find your customer and order number in the order confirmation or on your invoice, which was sent to your email address.
If your customer example is published in the community, you will receive a voucher worth €10 after activation.
Vouchers for publishing a customer example are valid for up to three years.
Every product is checked by CEWE for compliance with the participation terms (see link in footer) before being displayed in the gallery. Although we strive for quick review, it may take a few days in isolated cases.
If you include a map in your design via our software, CEWE acquires a license for single use in the printed product. This does not allow us to display the map online. We are working on providing alternative libraries to guarantee such online rights.
At present, it is not possible to view or filter your own favourites. We are constantly working to improve the Community, and this feature will be available soon.
View counts show how often your customer example has been looked at by members. Each member can rate your example in four categories: content, photos, design, and composition, each from 1–5 points. These are combined into an overall score automatically.
If you can't find your example, please verify the title and keywords. Try entering a shorter title or alternative keywords. Recently submitted examples may still be under review – please check back later.
You can delete your customer example at any time via the detail page (at the bottom of the page).
By submitting a customer example, you grant CEWE and its affiliated companies an irrevocable, simple, and unlimited right of use to publish customer examples for its PR activities. This includes publication, copying, presentation, and distribution for the purposes of CEWE's self-promotion. This permission applies solely in connection with the CEWE Community. The rights include use of the submitted photos for:

There may be two reasons: Every submission is checked for content by a moderator before publishing. If any text, photo, or video breaches the participation terms, CEWE reserves the right to reject it. Another possible reason is if you already published and then deleted this product—deleted examples cannot be resubmitted.
