Hello,

I am making a photobook with pictures from shorttrips in 2018. I think this page is a little "boring" Do you have suggestions to make it nicer?

I think, it depends on the other pages.
In my opinion it would be nicer to places the headline not in the middle. I would place it left.
And maybe don´t use the oval border around.

I'm not one of the layout experts here but perhaps I can start with some basic questions/things:
1) Is it really only one picture that you want to show for every place? I usually try to have a double page (or more) for every place - if possible, a general view and some details.
2) I know that some of the experts always argue against placing a picture in the middle of two pages, i. e. over the fold, even if it has lay-flat binding.
3) If you want to have the pages as they are, I would add a picture (going from the very top to the very bottom, perhaps with a Verlauf (no idea what that is in Englisch, sorry!) in the form of a quarter of a circle) with about 80% or so transparency on both sides such as a tree reaching in from the left (covering one third/one half of the first page) and something similar on the right page.
However, I'm sure the real experts will have better ideas and suggestions.

If I had read the other posts before I would not have done this layout. As its all ready now I post it nevertheless. I very much agree with what they say.

The pages is a sort of ”frontpage” for my photoes from our tour to Bad Iburg, Osnabrück and Münster. But after having read your answers I thought if I need this page at all because there are photoes from each town – and the castles.

On the other hand I like your suggestion cracde!!!!
