I am making a photobook to my son and his family who were on an autumn-holliday to Sicily. It all works out OK, but NOT this page. I don't like it at all.
Any suggestions?
On the screen the panorama-picture look nice, but not in the book (the little "face" is green - what do you think?)
Hi Lis,
I think, your layout needs only a few changes. The other pages seems to have a lot of pictures, so this is a great alternation.
Let the size of the small pictures the same, but move them closer together. Give them the same distance like the pictures on the other pages. A small white border would look good.
The fading at the large picture makes it a little bit "dirty". It would look better without.
Maybe like this. But, if its possible, give the boys on the left side a little more sky above the head.

Dear Josefia,
Thank you very much - your suggestion looks much better than mine
But Josefia how do you know there are many photos on the other pages??? (There are! It is NOT because I like this best But beceause I think photobooks are a little expensive and therefore I want to use all the paper!!!)

Big Brother ist watching you!
I've seen it on your screenshot. You have shown the storyboard with the layout of the other pages.
And yes, indeed, photobooks are expensive! But it is a nice idea to give some pictures more space. P.e. like this or the page with the Bougainvillea in your other photobook about Portugal. It's very lovely

Of course Josefia
And apropos screenshot, here I have a little problem. When I make a screenshot I copy it to a Word-document. Cut off the storyboard and save it as a picture. Then I open it in Irfanview and now the storyboard are here again(?????). I make it smaler and save it again. Now I can use at CEWE forum. But isn't there an easier way to do it?
You don't need word for this.
Make your screenshot and paste it directly to irfanview.
Then mark the desired selection with the mouse and press Ctrl+Y (german keyboard) or choose the menu shown on my screenshot.
After this you can resize the picture if necessary and save it. That's it.
I have always meant it was nicer with some space but as mentioned I want to "use the pages" because I find them a bit expensive.
This time I have used digital print, standard.
And as you can se - I do not add much text. These are pictures from a tour I did not parcipate in, therefore it is difficult to write text. But I don't write much in my own photobooks either.
Hi Lis,
sorry for my late response, I was too busy the last days.
Congratulation for this great photobook. I really like it. It has this bright background (like the book of Portugal), I like the sometimes mirrored layouts and the flowing corners. They are a nice eyecatcher when they are used as sparingly as they are in your layout.
To add this grey strip to the side you've shown at the beginning was a very good idea.
And I like the new space between the pictures! You've really found a good balance .
