I have made a photobook with a black cover but now I need a little help with the year - 2016.

Do some of you have a nice proposal?

Or perhaps this matter is discussed earlier? I have seen some proposals, and they are very nice but not when the cover is black.

If it's so, can you post your cover?

On a black background I would like big figures. I tried some variations with a photo and outlined numbers to show some possibilities.

But it would be good to see your cover before giving special tips.

Auf einem schwarzen Hintergrund würde ich große Zahlen nehmen. Ich habe ein paar Varianten probiert mit einem Foto und Zahlen mit Buchstabenrändern.
Besser wäre es aber, dein Cover zu sehen, bevor man wirklich Tipps geben kann.

Just another idea:
A black background could be a little gloomy and with a light strukture it would be more vivid. I tried a re-coloured (white or grey) clipart with a high transparancy to give the background a little strukture.

Ein schwarzer Hintergrund wirkt leicht düster, mit einer leichten Struktur wird er etwas lebendiger. Ich habe ein umgefärbtes Clipart mit hoher Transparenz verwendet, um dem Hintergrund etwas Struktur zu geben.

Mir gefällt das Design auch sehr gut - Kann ich dann auch eine Kopie bekommen? . Nach dem Prinzip "kleiner Finger - ganze Hand": oder kannst du mit ein paar Stichworten beschreiben, wie du die Ziffern konstruiert hast ?

Der Font heißt "Homesteas", das andere sind alles Stile. Soll ich dir die PSD Datei schicken, dann siehst du alle Einstellungen? Dieser Effekt war so gar nicht geplant, hat sich einfach beim Herumprobieren so ergeben.

Sorry for not writing yesterday, but my granddaughter and I had a "Granddaughter/grandmother-day" and NOTHING is more important:-)

About the cover: It is cover to a book about my son and his family's holiday in Bali and Gili. I almost have finished the book (you newer get 100% satisfied) but the cover gives me a little trouble. I think the Words "Bali" and "Gili" and "2016" should be in the front? And perhaps a single Picture?

But I am open for every idea.

Enclosed is the cover until now. Really hope to hear from you - and surely I will take all ideas to my "Musterbuch" - they are all so nice.

Nothing on my cover need to be there, it is only a suggestion. But as earlier mentioned I would be glad if the Words "Bali", "Gili" and "2016" can be there - even that is a "Must" though!

I like my covers more personal, colourful and adaptet to the theme/trip.

Do you know, what your son and his family did love most on this trip? I would take one or two photos of this and put them on the cover. And I would pick the colour for the test from the picture.

For inspiration: ... ich mag meine Cover persönlicher, farbiger und an das Thema/die Reise angepasst.
Weißt du, was deinem Sohn und seiner Familie am besten gefallen hat auf der Reise? Nimm ein oder zwei Fotos davon und setzte sie aufs Cover. Und ich würde die Farbe für den Text aus dem Foto aufnehmen.
