Hi,

Now I need you experts to help me again D:D

My grandson has been in Australia and Asia for nearly 1½ år and he has a lot of photos.

I have promised him to make of photobook and now I cannot decide, what background I shal chose. As you perhaps remember I like a beige background but I thought it is for a boy and perhaps he thinks is it i to "cutesy" (if you understand what I mean?)

I enclose two examples - dont look at photos or layout - I only need your comments about the colour - it is not a choise between the two of the - another suggestion will be appriciated.

Tastes differ' said the man when he kissed his cow 😉
You want a masculine book for your grandson? Why not make the backgrounds genderless and choose white? Especially if you want lots of photos on one page, I would use a very plain background. I usually start with the design and add the background right at the end. Once all the pictures are placed, you might find it easier to choose the background.
As he visited several countries, you could choose different light colours for each country. But before you start anything, I would make a folder with only the best photos. Or use the stars in the Fotoschau. Give 5 stars for the best photos, 4 for the good ones, 3 stars for the ok ones a.s.o. That is the most time consuming and difficult task of the whole book.

Hi Rotuma,

Thank you very much for your suggestions. As you write I will start with a white background and then decide.

And thank you for the idea by "classifying" the photos. D:winki:
